Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Salwan Ali Obaid, the Department of Medical Analysis at the College of Science held a scientific seminar entitled “The University and Sustainability: A Responsibility Towards Future Generations.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Nigal Ghalib Mohammed.
The seminar aimed to clarify the concept of sustainability and its importance in protecting the environment, reducing pollution, and conserving natural resources such as water and energy. It also addressed the university’s role in sustainability by raising environmental awareness through education, scientific research, and developing recycling programs to reduce waste and make better use of resources.
