The President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, conducted a field visit to monitor the progress of the new garage project adjacent to the university’s administration building. He was accompanied by the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hamza Al-Hashimi, and the Chief Engineer, Alaa Abdul Karim Hammadi, who is supervising the project.

During his tour, the President emphasized the need to expedite the project’s implementation. He noted that it represents a new step in Al-Qadisiyah University’s series of projects aimed at utilizing available space to construct more garages to accommodate the volume of vehicles, while also preserving green spaces and ensuring they are not negatively impacted by neighboring projects.

It is worth noting that the new parking garage is located opposite the Dean’s office of the College of Education, within the area between the University Presidency building and the Central Library, covering an area of 1875 square meters. It can accommodate more than 80 vehicles, thus helping to alleviate traffic congestion caused by vehicle accumulation and haphazard parking. This garage is also part of a series of urban development projects launched by Al-Qadisiyah University to improve the university environment.
