Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women at Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Mai Ali Aziz, an awareness lecture on religious extremism leading to terrorism was held at the College of Education for Women in cooperation with the Community Police in Diwaniyah. The lecture was presented by Lieutenant Ali Salim Mohsen, Commissioner Nada Nazim Salman, and Mr. Thabit Kadhim Hassan.
The lecture aimed to raise awareness among female students about the dangers of religious and intellectual extremism and its negative effects on the individual and society, and to promote the values of tolerance, moderation, and constructive dialogue. It also aimed to explain the role of educational and security institutions in preventing the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism, and to develop security and intellectual awareness among female students, thus contributing to building a safe and stable society.
