The College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University held a workshop on the role of legal frameworks in protecting the entrepreneurial environment.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Aqeel Rahim Hassan Al-Barqawi, the College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week activities and under the slogan “Ideas Take Flight from the Land of the Two Rivers,” held a workshop entitled “The Role of Legal Frameworks in Protecting the Entrepreneurial Environment.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturers Hiba Hashim Mohammed, Salam Abbas, and Mukhlid Qasim. The workshop addressed the importance of environmental laws and regulations in supporting environmentally friendly entrepreneurial projects, protecting natural resources, and reducing harmful practices. It also reviewed the most prominent relevant national and international legislation and its implementation mechanisms to achieve a balance between economic growth and environmental preservation. The workshop recommended the necessity of enhancing legal awareness among entrepreneurs and updating legislation to keep pace with technological and economic developments, as well as activating partnerships between government institutions and the private sector to support sustainable entrepreneurial initiatives.
