As part of the university’s plan to promote sustainable development, the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University launched a comprehensive tree planting campaign encompassing the college’s corridors and outdoor gardens. The campaign saw active participation from the college’s deanship, faculty, and staff.
This campaign coincides with national efforts to address climate change, aiming to improve the university environment and create a healthy and comfortable learning environment. This will contribute to enhancing students’ well-being, combating desertification, reducing carbon emissions, increasing vegetation cover on campus, fostering environmental awareness, promoting a culture of volunteerism among students, and cultivating a sense of environmental responsibility.
