Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yassiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Nabil Omran Al-Khalidi, and as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities, the College of Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University held a workshop entitled “Arabic Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence.” The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Salah Hassoun Jabbar.
The workshop aimed to inform participants about the role of artificial intelligence as a modern technology in academic studies and the information it requires when used in accordance with sound scientific methodology. Artificial intelligence is a double-edged sword; if learners use it effectively in the educational field, it can be beneficial and lead to significant advancements in the scientific domain. Conversely, if it is not used correctly, it can have negative consequences. Artificial intelligence can play a role in clarifying and analyzing linguistic studies and explaining their objectives more easily to learners if used correctly within an acceptable methodology that analyzes linguistic phenomena.
