A Specialized Scientific Seminar at the College of Agriculture, Al-Qadisiyah University, on Publishing in Top Journals

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Hayawi Wiwa Al-Jawdhari, the College of Agriculture organized a specialized scientific seminar entitled “Publishing in Top Journals.” The seminar featured a presentation by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Miftahzadeh from Ardakan University in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The seminar aimed to promote discussion of potential collaboration within the Visiting Professor Program and explore opportunities for joint supervision of postgraduate students, in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines. The seminar recommended clarifying the most important criteria for research acceptance for publication in Scopus-indexed journals within the top quartile. The seminar concluded with an in-depth discussion session in which Dr. Haiderzadeh answered researchers’ questions and discussed ways to improve publication standards. The session also addressed methods for utilizing applied agricultural research, future communication and collaboration with Dr. Haiderzadeh, and expanding cooperation between the two universities, all in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
