Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Sattar Hamid Hamza Al-Janabi, the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at the College of Education, in cooperation with the Noor Foundation for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled, organized the festival. The festival’s activities included distinguished segments that reflected the depth of its humanitarian message. Among the highlights was a speech by Dr. Yaqoub Habib Ibrahim, head of the Al-Nahrain Youth Foundation for the Blind and advisor to the Governor of Babylon on disability affairs. In his speech, Dr. Ibrahim praised the significant role played by the College of Education and the dedicated efforts of the professors in the History Department in supporting visually impaired students and creating an inclusive learning environment that enhances their confidence and academic abilities. The festival also featured a meaningful play that depicted the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals and highlighted their latent potential and capacity for creativity and contribution. This was followed by a moving song dedicated to visually impaired students, expressing hope, determination, and social inclusion. Great interaction and appreciation from the audience
