der the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University participated in the Creativity and Excellence Award, which was held at the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad under the supervision of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Medicine at Iraqi Universities, and in the presence of the deans of colleges of medicine from across Iraq.
The competition targeted the top three students in Iraqi medical colleges for the 2024-2025 academic year in order to highlight scientific excellence and the high quality of graduates from medical colleges at Iraqi universities.
The top three students from the College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University were Mustafa Adel Musa Al-Rikabi, Maryam Amer Abdul Aziz, and Hassan Adnan Nawaf.
The students took the competitive exam for the Creativity and Excellence Award, and Mustafa Adel Musa Al-Rikabi achieved a remarkable feat, securing first place among all medical colleges in Iraq. This achievement crowned the College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University with first place in the Creativity and Excellence Award. This accomplishment is a result of the continuous scientific and educational efforts provided by the university administration and the Dean of the College of Medicine, and their constant commitment to supporting outstanding students and fostering a competitive scientific environment. This contributes to raising the academic and research standards and achieving leadership among medical colleges in Iraq.
