Professor Dr. Sami Bashir Al-Hasnawi, Director of the Continuing Education Center, followed up on the activities of the University Teaching and Training Development Center, which he has been assigned to manage, by visiting a training course for faculty development. He reviewed the implementation mechanisms and the level of trainee engagement with the training program.
Dr. Al-Hasnawi also launched the “Trainee Satisfaction Survey” initiative, which aims to measure the effectiveness of training methods and the content of the training materials, as well as evaluate logistical aspects and course management.
The initiative aims to identify strengths and weaknesses, develop training content and tools, and enhance the quality of facilities and services available for conducting courses within the center, in accordance with quality standards and continuous improvement requirements. The Director of the Center pointed out the need to give the program special attention to developing teaching staff in applied sciences, by integrating advanced topics in professional ethics and academic responsibility, in order to ensure the preparation of teachers who possess sound scientific competence and professional conduct that enhances confidence in the educational institution. He noted that the Center continues to adopt initiatives that contribute to raising the efficiency of training programs and supporting faculty members, in order to enhance the university’s role in serving the educational process and building academic capacities.
