Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Nabil Omran Al-Khalidi, the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a cultural festival to celebrate World Arabic Language Day.
The festival included a research session by Professor Dr. Lama Abdul Qadir Khunayab, moderated by Professor Dr. Haider Habib Hamza, a prose poem recited by Assistant Professor Dr. Nahida Abdul Sattar, and language competitions for students of the Department of Arabic Language, moderated by Professor Dr. Hussein Obaid Sharad, Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Farman Mohammed, Assistant Professor Dr. Ayed Mohammed Abdullah, and Dr. Asmaa Abdul Hussein Ali. The winners of the competitions were honored, and prizes were distributed to winners from the audience.
