Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Dirgham Al-Fatlawi, and at the invitation of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Ministry of Migration and Displacement in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate, in cooperation with the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Dalal Zamat Hamza, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Nursing, participated in a seminar and special event as part of the global campaign to combat violence against women (16 Days of Activism).
The seminar and event focused on discussing ways to protect women and ensure their active participation in building a safe society, under this year’s campaign slogan: “Protecting Women: Ensuring Their Participation in a Safe Society.” The aim was to raise awareness of the dangers of violence and the importance of providing a safe environment that enables women to play their full role in society.
