The Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a scientific workshop entitled “Ethical and Educational Dimensions in the Holy Quran.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Aseel Abdul-Amir Khuman Al-Zarfi, Dr. Salam Baqir Kadhim Al-Rubaie, and Assistant Lecturer [Name Missing]. The workshop aimed to instill noble values, purify and refine souls, rectify intentions to be solely for the sake of God Almighty, and encourage students to adopt virtuous morals and perform good deeds, ultimately leading to the desired positive change in the individual and society.
The workshop was attended by a number of distinguished professors and students from the department, and addressed the importance of strengthening the moral and educational conscience of students, based on the verse: {Indeed, God does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves} and relying on verses from the Holy Quran, sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), the sayings of the Ahlul-Bayt (the Prophet’s family), and the pronouncements of scholars, sages, and ethicists.
