The College of Agriculture at Al-Qadisiyah University Launches a Tree Planting Campaign as Part of the Green Sustainability Program

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture at Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Hayawi Wiwa Atiya Al-Jawdhari, the College launched a tree planting campaign as part of the Green Sustainability Program. The campaign included planting trees in the college gardens to create numerous green spaces, preserve the environment, combat climate change, support clean energy, reduce emissions, and create a suitable learning environment. This campaign is one of several tree planting initiatives undertaken by the College of Agriculture as part of the Million Trees Initiative, which was emphasized by the university administration and implemented in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
