The Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a specialized and intensive training course entitled “Using the Total Station in Beam Surveying” in the Continuing Education Unit Hall at the college. The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Zughair Jaber and Engineer Ahmed Tarish.
The course aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills to use modern technologies in field surveying, thus bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and the practical needs of the job market. Practical training included installing and calibrating the device, entering coordinates, and procedures for surveying structural beams and structures to determine their dimensions and locations with extreme precision.
