The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific workshop on artificial intelligence and sports biomechanics.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yassiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Professor Dr. Bashir Shaker Al-Awadi, the Continuing Education Unit at the college, in cooperation with the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, held an educational workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Sports Biomechanics.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Ta’ima and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Faiz. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of artificial intelligence in biomechanics and other sciences, and to raise awareness of its significance in public life and its vital role in our near future. The workshop also addressed several key topics, including the definition of artificial intelligence and sports biomechanics, the applications of artificial intelligence in sports biomechanics, the most prominent artificial intelligence tools in sports biomechanics, and the challenges and future of artificial intelligence in sports biomechanics.
