Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Salwan Ali Obaid Al-Hamzawi, the Department of Medical Analysis at the College of Science held an awareness and motivational seminar entitled “With Our Determination, We Achieve Our Dreams.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Nadia Baqir Hussein.
The seminar aimed to provide guidance and direction to first-year students, especially as they are in great need of it during the transition from high school to university life. It aimed to familiarize them with student ethics in the university environment, their rights, duties, and obligations, by informing them of the student disciplinary code and the most desirable behaviors, such as focusing on academic achievement, respecting professors and fellow students, maintaining privacy, and avoiding undesirable behaviors such as bullying, verbal aggression, extortion, cheating, and dressing modestly. The seminar also addressed some of the problems students faced during their time at the college and helped them find solutions. she has
