With the support and sponsorship of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Muhammad Hamza Al-Hashimi, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, and the follow-up of Professor Dr. Imad Awda Al-Amiri, Director of Student Activities, the Al-Qadisiyah University swimming team won third place in the team relay race at the University Games held at Gilgamesh University in Baghdad. The team was headed by Dr. Muayyad Al-Khalidi, coached by Dr. Murtadha Tahsin Jawad, and included the following swimmers:
(Ali Jassim Abdul Ali, Hussein Mansour, Dhurgham Hatem Karim, Mustafa Halim Asim, Murtadha Muhannad Mohsen, and Ahmed Abdullah). Our university also achieved fourth place overall in the championship, which was held at Gilgamesh University in Baghdad and included more than 40 public and private universities, as well as Asian, Arab, and Iraqi swimming champions.
