The President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yassiri, received the Head of the Department of Art Education at Al-Ain University in Iraq, Professor Dr. Faisal Abdul Awda, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kadhim Nuwair Al-Zubaidi, to discuss avenues for joint cooperation.
The meeting, which was also attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Halim Hatif, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Al-Ameedi, writer Jamil Mahoud, and journalist Bayan Al-Nashi, included discussions on joint activities between the two institutions. Among these was an agreement to stage the play “The Martyrs Are Killed Again” by playwright Jamil Mahoud, to be directed by Dr. Faisal Abdul Awda, as it is considered a meaningful play with profound symbolism.
