The Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a specialized workshop entitled “Construction Project Stages,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Zughair Jaber.
The workshop focused on breaking down the construction project into its essential stages, starting with the feasibility study and preliminary planning phase, moving through detailed architectural and structural design, reaching the field implementation and site management phase, and concluding with handover, operation, and maintenance. It also included a comprehensive explanation of the importance of managing each stage with high efficiency to ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, and required engineering standards
