Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashir Shaker Al-Awadi,
and as a result of the development our college has witnessed and the provision of a distinguished and suitable academic environment, Arab students from brotherly countries have begun arriving, in implementation of the initiative of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, “Study in Iraq,”
which aims to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation between Iraq and the countries of the world.
The university order has been issued to student Nashwa Abdul Latif Abdul Rahman, a Sudanese national, authorizing her to begin her undergraduate studies for the 2025-2026 academic year with a full scholarship. God willing, this will be the first of many Arab students to join her in the coming days.
It is worth noting that the “Study in Iraq” initiative is one of the initiatives launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aims to attract students from all countries to study at Iraqi universities. This initiative seeks to enhance the standing of Iraqi universities in international rankings and create a unique educational experience.
