Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Anatomy and Histology at the college held a specialized training course entitled “Theoretical and Practical Foundations of Tissue Preparations.” The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Nabil Abdul Murad, Assistant Professor Maha Abdul Hadi, and Assistant Professor Dr. Safia Karim Wali
The course generally addressed modern techniques for preparing histological slides, highlighting the importance of quality and precision in the steps of histological preparation, from fixation to staining, to ensure reliable scientific results.
The course recommended the importance of adopting teamwork in laboratories as an effective means of exchanging knowledge and skills in applying histological preparation techniques, and continuous training on new equipment and preparation techniques.
