The College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University announced the organization of the Fourth International Conference on Engineering and Advanced Technology (ICEAT 2025), which will be held in Malaysia from July 23-24, 2025. This follows the successes of previous conferences in Egypt, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

 

This year’s conference was sponsored by Al-Qadisiyah University and Sunway University Malaysia, and attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Khalidi and a select group of faculty members from the college. It is a prestigious international platform for discussing the latest developments and challenges in various engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, chemical, civil, electrical, materials, communications, computer, and artificial intelligence engineering.

 

The conference featured scientific lectures by a select group of experts, as well as discussions of developments in renewable energy, the challenges of climate change, and sustainable buildings. It also included training workshops for graduate students on the mechanisms of writing and publishing scientific research.

 

A total of 184 research papers were submitted to the conference, of which 118 were accepted, and 66 were rejected after scientific evaluation. The research was presented in person at Sunway University in Malaysia and live online, using Microsoft Teams. Accepted research will be published in the EPSTEM journal, which is listed in the Scopus database. A selection of outstanding research papers will also be nominated for publication in prestigious Iraqi engineering journals.
