Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Internal and Preventive Medicine at the college held a seminar on distinguishing between actinomycetes and actinobacillus bacteria. Assistant Professor Raeda Nima Kazim presented the seminar.
The seminar aimed to distinguish between respiratory, oral, and soft tissue diseases in animals when infected with actinomycetes and actinobacillus bacteria in general. It also included an explanation of the infections, as the aforementioned bacteria are anaerobic bacteria that grow in a special medium and appear as branched threads under the microscope.
The seminar recommended taking the necessary precautions to avoid respiratory, oral, and soft tissue diseases caused by these types of bacteria, to maintain animal health and avoid malfunctioning of the respiratory system. Immunity
