Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the College’s Research and Common Diseases Unit completed a scientific training course on the synergistic effect of antibiotics with recombinant proteins. Professor Dr. Zeina Fouad Saleh and Assistant Professor Mohammed Sabry Jawad presented the course.

The course aimed to understand the basic principles of the synergistic effect between antibiotics and recombinant proteins, as well as to identify the mechanisms of action of antibiotics and the mechanisms of bacterial resistance. It also aimed to understand the role of recombinant proteins in enhancing the effectiveness of antimicrobial treatments.

The most important recommendations are to encourage advanced research in the field of pharmacological synergism between recombinant proteins and antibiotics, particularly for combating resistant bacteria, and to apply the acquired concepts practically in academic and research laboratories to develop new, more effective therapeutic strategies
