Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kallaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision and attendance of the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Sattar Abdul-Hassan Al-Fatlawi. The workshop was also attended by the Administrative Assistant, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Hashemi, and monitored by the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Professor Dr. Musa Khalaf Awad.

The Ibn Sina e-Learning Division at the Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Department at the University Presidency, held a workshop entitled “Discussion of the e-Learning Quality Standards Guide.”

The workshop, held in Ibn Khaldun Hall in the College of Administration and Economics, featured the following:
– Prof. Dr. Musa Khalaf Awad, Director of the Continuing Education Center
– Asst. M. Haider Mahmoud Abdul-Hussein, Ibn Sina Division
– Asst. R. Engineers Hussein Khaled Abdul-Sada, Ibn Sina Division

The workshop included:
• A definition of e-learning and its importance in higher education, and the role of assistant deans for academic and administrative affairs in supporting it. The three basic e-learning quality standards:
1. E-learning management (LMS platforms, staff training, user support).
2. Educational content (designing curricula aligned with standards, using open educational resources).
3. Evaluation and assessment (organizing transparent e-tests, effective feedback).
• The responsibilities of assistant deans are to monitor the implementation of these standards within colleges, through developing plans, coordinating between departments, and preparing periodic reports. She also reviewed the efforts of Al-Qadisiyah Technical University staff in developing e-learning.
