Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Anatomy and Histology at the college completed a training course on carbohydrate staining techniques in tissues. Assistant Professor Dr. Fatima Sawadi Zghair lectured.
The course aimed to provide participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to understand and apply carbohydrate staining techniques in histological sections, with a focus on PAS stains and acidic mucus stains such as Alcian Blue.
The course recommended continuing to practice carbohydrate staining techniques to ensure the consolidation of the skills acquired during the course, as well as periodically updating laboratory protocols to comply with modern standards in histology and chemistry. Textiles
