Under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiya University, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazem Nweir Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts held a symposium titled “The Phenomenon of Human Trafficking and Its Impact on Society,” presented by Dr. Ali Abdul Razak.
The symposium aimed to define the phenomenon, highlight its dangers, examine the reasons for its spread, and discuss its impact on society. It also proposed the most important solutions and appropriate measures to curb its spread, especially in our Iraqi society.
The symposium recommended the need to combat this dangerous phenomenon, starting with educating the community about its dangers and ending with the implementation of laws and the imposition of severe penalties against perpetrators of such heinous crimes.
