Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fattalawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Educational and Psychological Guidance Unit in the college organized a seminar titled “Intellectual Extremism: Causes and Prevention Methods,” presented by Dr. Haifa Jumaa Hassan, Assistant Professor Dr. Israa Najm Abdullah, and Mr. Abbas Fadel Daham.

The seminar aimed to educate the college students about the dangers of intellectual extremism on individuals and society. It included definitions of intellectual extremism, its causes, ways to prevent slipping into it, and warnings about intellectual extremism and its significant consequences, such as the emergence of certain deviant groups.

The seminar recommended that college students be cautious of falling into the trap of intellectual extremism and emphasized the necessity of obtaining their knowledge and culture from reliable sources such as scholars and thinkers known for their integrity and trustworthiness.
