In this regard, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, M. Hassan Hamid Naji, stated that the campaign involved planting a group of palm saplings of various Iraqi varieties in multiple locations within the college gardens and the areas surrounding the outer fence, indicating the importance of palm trees, which are considered evergreen trees resistant to climatic and environmental conditions, in addition to their effective role in reducing harmful dust storms to the environment.
