The Materials Engineering Department at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific course titled “The Work of Examination Committees in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research” in the Continuous Education Unit hall, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Israa Faisal Ghazi and Dr. Maha Jasim Mohammed.
The course aimed to address the tasks and membership of examination committees, whether central or subcommittees, and auditing committees according to the examination guide issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The course also detailed the duties of sub-examination committees in the department or scientific branch, examination instructions, and monitoring in examination halls, in addition to handling cases of cheating and the general principles of grading exam papers and dealing with students’ grades and results, concluding with the procedures for students’ objections to the results and the work of the objections committee.
