The Department of Electronic and Communications Engineering at the College of Engineering held a celebration titled “Imam Al-Mahdi, the Security of the Earth and the Hope of the Free,” coinciding with the birth of the pure Imams in the blessed month of Sha’ban. The event was attended by the Dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Al-Khalidi, his administrative assistant, Eng. Hassan Hamid, the head of the department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haider Miri, several faculty members, and a group of students from the college.
The celebration aimed to enhance the collective spirit and belonging to the academic and religious community. The event included various activities praising Imam Al-Hujjah Muhammad ibn Al-Hassan Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) and a Q&A session about Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), where ideas and knowledge about his personality and blessed life were exchanged. Students also participated by writing their messages and greetings to their Imam of the time, expressing their love and loyalty to him.
