The College of Arts, in cooperation with the Center for Counseling and Psychological and Social Services at Al-Qadisiyah University, held an educational scientific seminar titled (Human Trafficking: Its Concept, Components, Forms, and Ways to Combat It). The seminar featured lectures by Assistant Professor Dr. Hossam Mohammed Munshid, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Adnan Munkar, and Assistant Lecturer Lika Sabah Othman.

The seminar aimed to define the concept of human trafficking according to international agreements, its main components and forms, and the most important laws and international agreements to combat this crime. The seminar also addressed the Iraqi project on human trafficking and the key Iraqi legal texts for combating human trafficking, which discussed the necessary provisions and solutions to prevent the spread of this type of crime.

The main recommendations included enhancing cooperation among the relevant authorities and ministries involved in combating crime, such as the Ministry of Interior, Migration and Displacement, Foreign Affairs, Health, Social Affairs, Transportation, and border, customs, and air and land transport administrations.
